Undocumented feature (until now)
I’ve setup a short url that will make running queries much easier. Here’s how it works:
- http://steamid.me/example will redirect to http://steamidfinder.com/?example.
- http://steamid.me/example1,example2 will redirect to http://steamidfinder.com/advanced.aspx?example1,example2 (works with a single input as long as its followed by a comma
Additionally, if you feel like typing a ? instead of a / queries can be passed through a traditional querystring like http://steamid.me?example. The main website will also accept querystrings and it will not work without a ? since that’s too much of a pain to setup.
In all cases the query will be passed on and the lookup will proceed automatically. Just try it out!

My programmer is trying to persuade me to move to .net from PHP. I have always disliked the idea because of the expenses. But he’s tryiong none the less. I’ve been using WordPress on several websites for about a year and am nervous about switching to another platform. I have heard excellent things about blogengine.net. Is there a way I can import all my wordpress posts into it? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I wouldn’t switch to .NET if all you’re doing is running a blog. WordPress is king – look at me, I’m running .NET and I still went for WordPress. That said, I’m sure there’s a way but it’s likely not that straightforward judging from a quick glance at the top hits on google.
